Joining The Gym was one of the best decisions I have made.
I have always been a sporty person growing up, but haven’t always looked the part.
I took an interest to The Gym just over 2 years ago now and joining The Gym has helped me out mentally and physically!
I’ll never forget my first day walking into The Gym, I had no idea what to expect, I was terrified.
I was so used to team sports and always having team members and friends around me that when I walked into the gym on my own I couldn’t help but feel lost.
I decided to join The Gym because I needed a lifestyle change, I needed someone to guide me in the right direction to a healthier and happier life, and that’s exactly what I got. Everyone was so understanding and genuinely wanted to help me reach my goals! It was only then I realised I needed a complete diet change and up my exercise, to get to where I wanted to be.
I took part in 3-4 classes weekly and loved every one of them. I got to know loads of new people and it made it so much more enjoyable to workout!
After a few months of clean eating and working out I really started to notice a difference, I had a lot more energy, I dropped a few clothes sizes, gained a lot more confidence in myself and found a love for The Gym.
Two years later and I am now working in The Gym Howth and currently training to become a Personal Trainer and Gym Instructor at Image Fitness Training Alsaa. I am loving every minute of the course and learning more and more everyday.
If you feel that you'll be lost when you enter The Gym, you will be... for about 30-seconds! However, feel the fear & do it anyway - 30-seconds and you'll have made the easiest decision you'll ever have to make to becoming a fitter, healthier and more confident version of yourself!
